Responsibilities

- The Lead Mechanical & Fluid System Engineer is involved in the development of Gas Turbines Auxiliary Systems requisition projects as well as in the product improvement.
- Be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity;
- Follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives;
- Have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning;
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers;
- Document and communicate results of technical data generated;
- Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
- Share information and promote open dialogue;
- Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business;
- Be in charge of package and plant design: base-plate structure, piping system, auxiliaries equipment selection and systems specification.

Requirements

- Master of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- At least 5 additional years of experience in an Engineering position;
- Ability to understand and implement basic design and lay-outs for overall assemblies and applying drawing standards according to customer requirements;
- Ability to organize and lead activities of drafters/ designers team;
- Strong focus on quality;
- Fluency in English;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Turbo-machinery and mechanical systems;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; Knowledge of using design CAD/FEM tools and demonstrated experience in their use;
- Ability to work in teams and achieve targets;
- Ability to work in a global environment.
